Something strange began the day of Stephen's death, shortly after the first Pentecost on June 17, 31 A.D. Due to more persecutions of the new 'Christians' (Jews), they were being driven from their homes and land all over Judea and Samaria. As they scattered so did the message and the New Church (Acts 11-19-21). They began to breach the Gospel to the World. (1) Peter was over Israel and was the chief apostle. (2) Paul was over the Gentiles. Our Lord's brother, (3) James, remained in Jerusalem heading the Church of God there. (4) Andrew went to northern Asia Minor - Black Sea and Crimea. (5) Phillipwas assigned to Scythia. (6) Bartholomew traveled to Armenia and the Caspian Sea area. (7) Thomas preached in the Iranian plateau, even into India. (8) Matthew preached in Scythia and Ethiopia. (9) Thadeaus was sent to upper Mesopotamia and Assyria. (10) Matthias entered Macedonia and Central Europe. (11) James Alphaeus covered Spain, Britain, and Ireland. (12) Simon the Canaanite spread the word in Africa and in Britain. The New Testament Church was founded on these men with Christ being the chief cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20). They preached the Gospel to the then known world. God's great work was effectively growing around the world. The Ephesian Era of the 7 Churches had begun.

The above travels may be read in extrabiblical resources from history.
