If you don't pass your state test you may not be able to graduate high school. Also you may be put into a special course that will address your weaknesses.

The Walmart store I work for rarely terminates associates based on a 'just because' reason. If you get hired at Walmart as either a full or part time associate, you are most likely there until you either quit, you fail to perform to Walmart's standards, or the store closes down (which is highly unlikely). If you get hired as a temporary associate your job is not guaranteed although you most likely will get kept on if you perform your job exceptionally well.

If you receive a red (or fail) for the assessment, you can wait a period of 6 months or so before retaking the test. When you retake the assessment, you will be given another chance as your old score will be removed.
