No that is not okay if want the baby to stop crying you have to do it. As i say it get it done and over with. Now here is how you change a poppy diaper for beginners! Your welcome! What you should do is to first get all my supplies ready by having a new diaper in place and wipes out ready to pull. First the baby down and put in some nose plugs to put on your nose . then slide and open the new diaper under the old one. Next carefully take the old one off and hold the legs (they all really like to kick.) throw the old diaper away and hold the legs while wiping the bottom. then rub some baby powder on the bottom and slide on the new diaper. There good as new! Hint: if its a boy, have another diaper to block the pee from hitting you
A Practical JOker?? no... just a stupid question! Itching powder and cause sever allergic reactions if it is ever inhaled or in contact with eyes, ears, lungs, etc. Anybody's health could be compromised by it ... adult/teen OR a baby ... there is NO guarntee that the clothing items it is placed upon may NEVER come in contact with those other body areas ... esp. with babies who are forever trying to put things in their mouths. S, NO ... it is NEVER safe to put itching powder upon a baby's diaper!

Chloramphenicol is metabolized by the liver. A baby's liver is not mature enough to metabolize this drug. Therefore the levels of Chloramphenicol increase in the baby's body, as there is no way for the baby to get rid of the drug. This causes cardiovascular collapse (severe hypotension), cyanosis, flaccidity, and vomiting.
