Converting to fifteenths, it is 5 fifteenths - 6 fifteenths, which gives minus one fifteenth.

No it isn't 2/5= .4 1/3=.333333 whats greater .4 or .3333333 obviously .4 so 2/5>1/3

What is 2 thirds minus 1 fifth?

2/3 is technically 10/15. 1/5 is technically 3/15. 10/15 - 3/15 is 7/15. If you make the denominator equal, it makes math a lot easier :)
