A dependent value is a value that relies on another value... it basically means what it says.
For example, distance vs. time. There are two values. You're probably measuring how far something goes over time. Time isn't affected by distance - it doesn't matter if I'm running faster than the Flash or just standing on one spot - the same time passes by, thus time is the independent value.
Distance, on the other hand, relies on time to get anywhere. If you're walking for 60 seconds, you will be further from your start point (assuming you don't turn around and walk back, but that has to do with vectors; let's stick to scalar values) than if you were to walk at the same speed for 6 seconds. Thus, distance is the dependent value.
Quick note: when you're graphing, the dependent value is, by convention, always on the y axis.
Don't forget! Good luck!
always compare maths with with your life. Then it will be easy to understand. Dependant means depend on something. As u depend on ur dad for money problem same in case of maths. When some value is depend on other for its solution. Then that value is dependant value.
The dependent variable is the variable that depends on the independent variable.
A dependant variable is one that is dependant on something else, e.g if I change the temperature (the independant variable) the rate of reaction increases(the dependant variable). A paper cup is not a variable as it doesn't change in value - it is equipment
The value of any firearm is heavily dependant on the condition. The Redhawk may be worth as little as $200, or as much as $600.
It's dependant on your own self confidence & the value you place on other's opinions.
It could go from $50 up, totally dependant on condition.
The value is dependant on three things. Condition, condition, and most of all condition. Anyone would need very good pictures or a hands on evaluation to make a determination of value.
It's value is almost entirely dependant on the condition and history. I've seen them sell for as much as $5,000 and as little as $200.
The dependant variable is what is tested in an experiment.
Dependant on condition any where from 650-1200 US dollars
Electrical resistance is measure in Ohms. A function of voltage divided by current. It is also dependant on the length and cross sectional area of the conductor.
