Thank you for your question. There is no cheat for getting shiny Poke'mon in silver, gold or crystal. There are a few easier ones though: 1. Silver - Lake of rage, shiny gyrados 2. Here is one way to get shiny SPECIAL POKEMON (the ones that you talk to, e.g. lugia) When you see a SP (special Poke'mon) DO NOT APPROACH, Save! Now, approach the Poke'mon, and talk to it. If it is not shiny (abnormaly colored) soft reset (abstrtselect at the same time) and approach again and again till it is SHINY
