A Humbler is a testicle-torture device made usually of wood. There is a small hole in the middle of this under-wear (not boxers) shaped contraption. The partner traps the user's testicles in it and puts the device just below the anus. This forces the man to kneel down. Any movement in the legs can cause extreme pain.
