There are cures for some kinds of cancer. (Some of them are listed below).

Unfortunately, most kinds of cancer have no known cure.

Cancer is a category of diseases in which a group of cells display uncontrolled growth (division beyond the normal limits).

There is no known way to normalize cancer cells.

The only known ways of curing a person of cancer involve removing or killing all the cancer cells.

Although Dr Otto Warburg found the main cause of cancer in the 1930s, no subsequent cure has been identified. Warburg found a lack of oxygen in a person's cells and bloodstream contributed to cancer risk.

Various doctors and natural therapists have proposed diets to help stave off cancer. These diets have included greater amounts of phosphatides and lipoproteins, such as those that are found in diets which incorporate cottage cheese, nuts, seeds such as apricot seeds, onion and vegetables such as leek, chive, onion and garlic and flax seed oil regularly. Again, however, diet is not a cure. [NOTE that apricot seeds are toxic to humans and most higher life forms.]

There are many alternative therapies that claim to have discovered the cure, but while they may appease the symptoms - sometimes dramatically - and cause reduction of tumours and/or the number of cancer cells, they are not a cure.

In many cases, Chemotherapy and radiation therapy are not considered cures, but palliative treatment to improve the length and quality of life. In those cases, the dose is too low to kill all the cancer cells.

* Chemotherapy kills cancer cells throughout the body. If the cancer cells are susceptible enough to the toxin that all the cancer cells are killed, then chemotherapy can cure people. Unfortunately, in most cases doses high enough to kill all the cancer cells would also kill the patient.

* Radiation therapy kills cancer cells. If all the cancer cells can be located, then radiation therapy can cure people. Unfortunately, in most cases by the time the cancer has been detected, it has already spread and not all the locations it has spread to can be located. Also, there is a risk that radiation damage to normal cells sometimes causes new cancer.

* Surgery to remove the cancer cells, which often means removing part or all of the organ in which the cancer cells are found. If all the cancer cells can be located, then surgery can cure people. The danger is that, even though this may have been done, cancer cells may have already spread to other parts of the body. Also, there is the risk common to all surgery of infection and other complications.

Preventatives for a few kinds of cancer include HPV vaccines, which prevent some kinds of Cervical cancer. Researchers are currently testing gene therapy to see if it can kill some kinds of cancer.

Having said that, there are some individuals who, after a course of treatment, whether surgery or other therapies, may end up completely cancer-free. Miracles can happen. Two things which do appear to have a noticeable impact are a person's personal faith, and a positive outlook.

Surgery: This is the most common treatment for skin cancer. It involves removing the cancerous tissue along with a margin of healthy tissue to ensure that all cancer cells are removed.

Mohs surgery: This specialized surgical technique is often used for more complex or aggressive skin cancers. It involves removing thin layers of skin and examining them under a microscope until no cancer cells are detected.

Radiation therapy: High-energy rays are used to target and kill cancer cells. This is often used when surgery is not an option or as an adjuvant therapy after surgery.

Topical treatments: Certain topical creams or ointments may be used for early-stage skin cancers or precancerous lesions.

Chemotherapy: This is rarely used for skin cancer, but it may be recommended for certain advanced cases.

Immunotherapy: Immune-boosting drugs may be used to help the body's immune system fight skin cancer cells.

Targeted therapy: Some skin cancers, particularly advanced melanomas, can be treated with drugs that target specific genetic mutations.

Photodynamic therapy (PDT): PDT involves using a photosensitizing agent and a special light source to target and destroy cancer cells.

It's important to note that early detection and treatment significantly improve the chances of successfully managing skin cancer. Regular skin exams and sun protection measures can help reduce the risk of developing skin cancer in the first place.

You can certainly prevent skin cancer from re-occurring like it often does, simply by being very careful with your diet, eating lots of fresh food, high in anti-oxidants and avoiding exposure to the sun, especially with artificial chemical sunscreens.

There also many herbs that can be used to treat skin cancer and have been proven successful over hundreds of years. There is a very good book available on treating skin cancer naturally here http://www.brettelliott.com/shop/how-to-treat-skin-cancer-naturally-e-book which goes into some excellent detail on this subject. I hope that helps.

If skin cancer is caught early enough, it has a very high cure rate, especially depending on the type of skin cancer. But the key word here is "early" detection. Even though there have been many advances in cancer treatment and cures, there is no guarantee that any form of cancer is cured, but the chances that it can be, or has been cured, are excellent.

If you have a mole that has recently come up, or one that has changed in color or appearance, or itches, bleeds or leaks any type of fluid, you need to see your doctor ASAP. If he says it's nothing to worry about, get a second opinion - this is no time to worry about offending your doctor - this is your LIFE. You are your own best advocate as to the proper medical care you receive, so don't accept anything less than what you feel is best. Is is YOUR body. It is YOUR life.

It depends on what type of skin cancer it is. Some types are removed with surgery. Some can be burned off. Others may require radiation therapy or if it has spread even chemo. Or any combination of these.

Yes it can be possible. If you have already had a type of cancer like lung cancer, gum cancer, skin cancer, and throat cancer, it can be possible to make yourself open to the type of cancer again. It would be best to try to get rid of the addiction to smoking. You can go on google or medical search engines like medline and search would it be dangerous to smoke cigars if you had skin cancer or any cancer in general.
