In certain algorithms, those frames that are in computer main memory which remain unused for a long time are removed using aging registers. These keep count of frame access.Whenever a frame is used, counter associated is nullified.Periodically,n is added to all counters and the counter with the highest count is removed.thi counter is called aging register as it keeps age of the frame in main memory.
Different computers have different numbers of registers depending on their architecture.
This varies dramatically from one computer architecture to another. It may be as few as one register to many hundreds, the registers may be general purpose or very specialized in purpose. It all depends on the decisions of the computer architect and the evolutionary history from the initial implementation of the architecture to the latest.
Atmel's family say that 8051 controller follows the von-nuemann architecture. because register to register operation not possible in all 8051 family. if it is harvard means, it must support register to register transfer.Hence it concludes that 8051 followed by von-nuemann or Princeton architecture...

Computer architecture is not useful for the people whose use the computer for general purposes. Mostly, computer architecture helps those people who are in the manufacturing/development sector.
The computer architecture is concerned with how the CPU acts and uses the computer memory.
Computer architecture is the parts of a computer and how they relate together in helping it to carry out its purpose. It is a combination of instruction set design and micro architecture.
Computer hardware is the components that make up a computer. Computer architecture is the model used to combine the Hardware into a working unit.
The architect of the computer system, he/she developed the programming architecture as well as the processing architecture. If the designer follows this architecture definition the computer can be programmed. There is no proof needed.
Not in the real world but the virtual world. SOA, or service oriented architecture, is a type of computer architecture and thus can only be viewed as code on a computer.
