Amaterasu is a one of the three jutsus that a mangekyou sharingan user gets..............all uchiha mangekyou users have 3 attacks mainly that is amaterasu,tsukoyomi & susanoo....... amaterasu is the strongest fire technique and one of the stongest ninjutsu.............its flames appear directly appear where the user looks and thus making it almost unavoidable...........its flames are said to come from the sun and are inextinguishable........they burn for 7 days and 7 nights and destroys everything that comes in contact with it and can even put out normal flames...........

The idiot up there really doesn't know anything.Amaterasu for itachi is pretty much black flames which he can transmit through seeing it with is mangekyou.Those are not 3 types of things for the mangekyou sharingan only 2.Tsukoyomi is itachi's ultimate genjustu that he uses.Susano is not a power a person gets.Susano is just sasuke's spirit weapon and each person with 2 sharingans are able to use a different sharingan.Amaterasu does burn for 7 days and 7 nights and is inextinguishable.Itachi transfered his Famous amaterasu to sasuke along with unlocking his mangekyou sharingan.He also transfered another power to Naruto which is another power which everyone is unaware of yet.It will be unlocked when naruto looks into sasuke's sharingan,supposingly it was for madara,but naruto already saw it in the manga so it is definitely for sasuke instead.

he didn"t look in Sasuke's sharingan yet and it is a theory.That Itachi also implanted a power to Naruto but it only activates when he sees Sasuke's sharingan like Madara and Sasuke..When Sasuke looked in Madara's sharingan his amaterasu activated.Stop being dumb....
