Spiritually when we are within the will of God we have put ourselves in a position to not only receive blessings but to also avoid the consequences of sin. When we live a moral life we are living according to the laws of "right" based on what God's word teaches and it boils down to respect for God, yourself and those around you. Moral is within the will of God, not sinning, no consequences, things are as good as you could make them. Respecting those around you gives you the best chance of being respected in return. Being loving in most cases gives you love back. Lacking the guilt of being wrong iin a situation gets you the best chances of being found inocent. So the moral advantage is the avoidance of all that sin, lawlessness and acting disrespectfully will bring to your life and instead enjoy all that being a person that lives according to God's teachings receives which is peace, goodwill and respect. Theres a lack of guilt, regret and the misery this brings. You don't necessarily have to be a christian to have morals or live a moral life, but the standards those that live morally have set for themselves to follow are still based on the teachings of Jesus whether they know it or not.
