Um..... Well.... I wonder.... Well common sence would tell you that you need a package!
It means that your package has gone through customs and is ready for delivery.
It basically means customs has seized the package. They may or may not let it through.
Just what it says, they have the package and will not release it to the buyer. They have seized the package, but not necessarily the contents. It could be for a number of reasons, illegal, customs broker messed up the paperwork. May have a shipping label from Mexico, but actually came from India. Get a good Customs Broker, if you want your goods. FedEx is actually allowed to clear through Customs itself. Custom Officials are not for the amateur to even try to deal with. Hope this helps.
try keeping in the original containers if possible, some products come in seal packages, one package for each day which would be easy to get through customs
It means that your package has been already revised by customs and cleared out and it was returned to the postal service in order to make the final delivery to the receipt
USPS
i also have a package that has been in customs since january 13,2012 and have tried to find out how long it takes. i have even tried calling customs but cannot get a person just recordings.
The time is takes for a package to clear customs varies from one day to one month. The way a package is shipped has a lot to do with how long it will take to clear.
I doubt it. When I went through customs and immigration, a couple had to get rid of a package of sausages. The same probably goes for lobsters.
Departure from office of exchange basically means that your package has gone through the processes necessary (like customs) and is ready for delivery.
The package was given to a firm UPS contracts, that specializes in dealing with US customs. So it is being inspected by US customs office.
I would reckon about 10-20 minutes
