Formula for contribution margin ratio = Sales
The maximum contribution is $6000. I hope this helps you!
contribution margin ratio = (sales - variable costs) / Sales
Total contribution is .. When more than one unit is sold, the total contribution can be calculated. You work it out by: total revenue minus total variable = total contribution eg. 1,000 pair of trousers, variable costs are £7.50 per pair, sold at £9.00 per pair. = total contribution total revenue - total variable cost = (£9.00 x 1,000) - (£7.50 x 1,000) = 9,000 - 7,500 = £1,500 This £1,500 will contribute to the companies fixed costs & profit. Another way of working out the total contribution would be multiplying the unit contribution by the number of units sold. = total contribution unit contribution x number of units sold = (£9.00 - £7.50) x 1,000 = £1.50 x 1,000 = £1,500 Hope this helps :P
Actually, i am also not getting any social contribution. Please if any one gets any social or religion contribution of Sher Shah Suri, get to know me...

1.45% is that part of OASDI representing your Medicare contribution, matched by your employer. When you have reached your Social Security maximum contribution or when for other reasons you no longer have to pay into Social Security but are still employed, your contribution will reduce from 7.65% to 1.45%.
It isn't the contribution to Social Security that determines when (or if) you qualify for unemployment. It is your work history, the amount of your wages and reason you left your job, etc. You get Social Security after a required number of quarters worked, your age, Social Security entitlements, etc. regardless of your job situation.
