Static pressure is the pressure exerted by fluid in all directions, when it is in rest. Stagnation pressure is the sum of static and dynamic pressure of fluid in motion. Dynamic head is given by (velocity)^2/2*g.
In fluid dynamics, stagnation pressure is the static pressure at a stagnation point in a fluid flow.

When large air mass stays over an area
Doldrums got it's name by being stuck in the ocean is the like word definition of "doldrums." Which is "A state of inactivity, stagnation, or slump."
Absolute Pressure
Hurricanes are low pressure systems.
It is the speed of sound in a fluid at stagnation conditions. For example, if you have air flowing at some speed V with a temperature T and pressure P, the speed of sound in the air at those conditions will be = sqrt(kRT). k is the ratio of specific heats (approx. 1.4), R is the ideal gas constant for air (approx. 0.2870 kJ/kg/K). If that moving air hits an object and stagnates, the pressure, temperature, and density of the will increase to the stagnation conditions by an amount proportional to the air's initial velocity. The stagnation speed of sound will be the speed of the sound at those stagnation conditions (most importantly the speed of sound at the stagnation temperature).

Stagnation is a noun.
to prevent mental stagnation, you have to be alert. physically and mentally!!! that's it.
The official definition of the word stagnation is "the state of being still, or not moving."
Erikson's late adulthood stage is referred to as Ego Integrity vs. Stagnation. The virtue being developed at this stage is Wisdom. Stagnation is seen in Middle Adulthood (Generativity vs. Stagnation)
Stagnation refers to the state of stagnating or having stopped. Stagnation means when something has ceased to flow or failed to develop or progress.

Stagnation usually refers to the state of water when it is not flowing
