There are so many plans for studying The Bible, but we need to remember how the Bible was given to us and study it accordingly:
2 Peter1.20. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.
Historically, the Scriptures have been read publicly in a systematic way, from the beginning to the end, then starting over again. In that way, the entire counsel of God is made available to listeners, with nothing left out. Modern Christian ministries that follow the same procedure have experienced great success, e.g., Calvary Chapel, Thru The Bible radio program, The Word For Today radio program, etc. The Jewish faith still practices the systematic, consecutive reading of Scripture, and they've been around, through thick and thin, for more than 3400 years. Systematic study seems to have worked for them. Maybe it will work for you as well. Try it and see.
this is so because at the present time it's possible to plan for the future. effective planning depends on the knowledge of the past for example if one had encountered challenges in the past, remedies can be put in place to ensure successful planning.
