What I should have said is that it's not listed on Remington's website under Firearm Model History. Also, I can't find any mention of it in either the Standard Catalog of Remington Firearms or The Guns of Remington. What markings are on it?
Mowhawk Brown was a term used to describe the color of the Zytel stock on the Model 66. Also Apache Black and Seneca Green.

*It is a 12ga simi auto 28 inch full choke great, inexpensive shotgun, not bad looking but a bit ruff on the sholder, I have had one for many years, used mostly for skeet and dove. I have never had a malfunction and it is accurate as any expensive gun Mohawk is stamped in 1/2 inch type on the receiver and can not be missed. It sells for around 300 bucks and can be found cheeper if you look. A great entry shotgun
