From what I understand - Kenneth Patchen lost his teenage sister in a tragic car accident. The poem, in short, is basically tying the universe-spiritual-earthly(natural) to help him work through his grief that he experiences for his loss. More indepth study of his own life will help tie the poetry together even more.
I found simile, metaphor, alliteration, personification, and imagery
Twelfth Night and indeed most of the comedies do not fit well into the protagonist/antagonist mode of analysis. Viola is the main character in the play, but there is no other character who particularly stands in her way.
American poet Kenneth Rexroth (1905-1982) is famous for holding the title "Father of the Beats." He is well known for writing romantic poems such as "Airs and Angels: This Night Only" and "The Love Poems of Harichiko." Rexroth was also one of the first American poets to experiment with the Japanese poem called a haiku.
