There are really too many variables to answer accurately..like work comp laws in your state, Impairment ratings, occupation classification, other risk factors for CTS which are not work related (i.e. Diabetes etc.) and whether you will lose your job or not.. I would say 10-30k per hand would be a ballpark, then deduct 25-30% for lawyer fees from that.

What causes right thumb and pointer finger to go numb?

A few years back, my mother had the same problem. Her's turned out to be carpul (spl?) tunnel syndrome. Basically the cartiledge in her wrist was "choking" the nerves that led to her fingers. Because she does alot of repetetive motion such as typing and filing her only relief was very minor surgery on both wrists. She's had no problems at all since!

Can you get dla for carpul tunnel syndrome epelepsy asma and angina?

In terms of DLA, it is the effect and not the cause which is important. Therefore, it is impossible to say. But if you have certain care or mobility needs then you may be entitled.

Definition of carpul tunnel syndrome exactly?

It is the compression or compromise of the median nerve as it passes through the wrist area. The anatomical name of the wrist is called the carpal tunnel...if you have symptoms of numbness and tingling of the first 2 or 3 fingers (usually worse at night) and some wrist hand pain then you might have the "syndrome", hence the name carpal tunnel syndrome or CTS

Are numb hands a sign of pregnancy?

I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF NUMB HANDS BEING A SIGN OF PREGNANCY (POSSIBLY FROSTBITE) BUT THERE ARE MANY OTHER SIGNS OF PREGNANCY, FIRST BEING THE STOPPING OF YOUR MENSTRAL CYCLE AND SECOND NAUSEA UPON RISING IN THE MORNING SOMETIMES LASTING ALL DAY...YOU SHOULD TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST IF YOU THINK YOU MAY BE PREGNANT..THEN SEE YOUR DOCTOR.
