I am just a couple of months shy of 45. I have been working in the hospitality industry since I was 16. I have been a certified chef for 15+yrs, and I don't see retirement anywhere in my forseeable future, since there are not many benefits and the industry doesn't pay all that well. But I don't mind that one bit since I absolutely love what I do!
