All Methodists are Evangelists, but not all Evangelists are Methodists. Methodism was born our of Evangelism when some Evangelical preachers were so vigorous in their preaching and reaching out to the population that they were banned from several anglican churches and chose to preach in the open air. It's more complicated than that but in general they are much the same.

Methodism is a branch of Protestant Christianity that emphasizes the importance of personal faith and social justice. Evangelism, on the other hand, is the practice of sharing the message of the Christian gospel with others in order to convert them to Christianity. While both Methodism and evangelism involve spreading the teachings of Christianity, Methodism is a specific denomination with its own beliefs and practices, whereas evangelism is a broader concept that can be practiced by Christians of various denominations.
