A source is one item usually a book or evidence or a person like a witness. A resource is something or a pile of something that you use and come back to repeatedly like stone or gold or wood.

Sources or usually referring to information like news reports or professor's books or scientific facts or the like.

resources are things you can reuse or repeatedly use in a way you would use like a water pump for water or a forest for trees and logs. Savey?
