The Writer 'Ciaran Carson' is trying to tell us as Readers about his horrfic expericence in which he went through in the conflict of the Northern Troubles. It's almost as though he is trying to confide in us as the Reader and share his thoughts about what he is still maybe traumatised over.

Hope this helps! :) xxx

"Belfast Confetti" by Ciaran Carson is a poem that explores the chaos and violence of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The poem depicts a bomb explosion in Belfast through fragmented language and imagery, capturing the disorientation and fear experienced by the speaker and the city's residents. It highlights the impact of political conflict on ordinary people's lives.

The poem is about the terrorist attacks that took place in Belfast. It is a very complex poem that when analysed makes sense.
