Marine erosion is the action of the sea on coastal landforms. Examples of this type of erosion are hydraulic pressure, abrasion and attrition.
The Mississippi River Delta has lost approximately 1,100 square miles of shoreline to erosion since the 1950s, according to Louisiana State University, making it the world's largest example of coastal erosion.
Coastal eurosion does not exist. Coastal erosion does, this is the gradual decline of the coastline position due to the forces of wind and water. Eurosion, however, did exist. Eurosion was a European research project running from 2002-2005 that mapped the problem of coastal erosion on a European scale and gave best practices and policy recommendations dealing with the problem.
