Not unless you want to see some cool pyrotechnics!

Circulating current will be induced between the two Transformers if this is done. This current magnitude will be limited by the phase angle difference and the impedance of the two transformers. It is likely this current will be high enough to cause protective devices to operate regardless of loading on the secondary - fusing, overcurrent relays, sudden pressure relays, etc. If the impedance of the transformers is high enough, and the phase angle is fairly small (few degrees), LTC tapping may occur (some paralleling schemes use the circulating current between transformers to determine correct paralleled tap values). If they are "close enough" in phase angle, no serious problems will occur, other than (possibly) a small derate due to a small amount of circulating current.

In power distribution:

  • Parallel transformers share load and so have a longer lifespan
  • If one fails and the other is capable of handling the entire load for a time, then the failed one can be fixed without any outages
  • If a network's load increases, then adding a parallel transformer increases the total deliverable power to meet this

In AC/DC conversion (typically for HVDC):

When a star-star transformer operates in parallel with a star-delta transformer, they "remove" a number of harmonic currents introduced by the switching devices, creating a cleaner waveform.

Sure. The question remains whether this is a good idea, and the answer to that depends strongly on your application.

Why vector group is required?

There are various ways in which you can connect a three-phase transformer's primary and secondary windings, or in which you can connect three single-phase transformers to create a three-phase transformer bank. For example: wye-wye, wye-delta, delta-delta, delta-wye, etc.For each connection, there is a natural phase shift between the primary and secondary line voltages. This is called the angular displacement (or 'phase displacement') of the transformer connection. If you wish to parallel two three-phase transformers, or two three-phase transformer banks, then their angular displacements must be the same (there are also other requirements not relevant to this answer).A vector group is a method of specifying a three-phase transformer (or transformer bank) method of connection and its angular displacement. Transformer connections from the same group can be paralleled. Those in different groups cannot

What is Asymmetric motor?

All the Motors that we have access up to now are symmetrical. Symmetrical motors are Closed Systems that equals Zero in a "Balanced Equation" of Energy Conservation. They balance by canceling and constant reverse electromagnetic interactions. While the Asymmetric motors are Open Systems, when applying them to Motor Structure Coils configured in a fashion as not to interconnect them as a whole "pack" in a serial or parallel circuit, but disposed Independently Connected by pairs or by Groups of Sequenced Pairs.

What is joint command post?

A joint command post is a post from which different groups are directed. It usually is a post manned by the leaders of different sections of the armed forces, or by leaders of armed forces of different countries.

What would be a parallel circuit in your house?

== == A Parallel circuit is one where the current flows in several circuits (or 'branches') at the same time.In the house, the Main Breaker box (or fuse panel) is connected to the city's power lines. The current flows through the main circuit breaker and is then split into 2 or more circuits each of which is protected by its own circuit breaker.Envision a water pipe that is mounted horizontally in the attic. The pipe has 10 one inch holes cut into it, into these holes are fitted 10 one inch pipes that let water flow through each one as required (such as when the toilet is flushed, or the kitchen sink faucet is turned on).So, coming out of the Main Breaker box are several cables (each protected by its own smaller breaker), each going to a separate room, or area (outdoor patio, or detached garage). The reason for parallel electrical circuits is to limit the amount of current in each cable. If there was only one cable for the entire house, all of the current for every electrical device in the house would have to flow through the same cable, as opposed to each room (or area) having its own cable and only using as much current as is required for that room.I hope this helps, if so, please 'Recommend Contributor', and reply to this answer for more info, or a more detailed explanation.

How can you say that a carbon in molecule is chiral?

Chiral carbon is the carbon which is connected to four different groups in a molecule.

Why generator transformer vector group is YNd1 or YNd11 with the generator connected to Delta side?

Vector groups are used to categorize high and low voltage in transformers. The group number identifies the phase angle between configurations.

Is Royal Bank of Scotland connected to Credit Lyonnais bank?

Other than them both being financial institutions, there is no real connection. They are owned by different groups.

What is a quadralateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides?

it is a trapezoid. Quadralaterals can be groups according to how many pairs of parallel sides they have. A square and a rectangle have all 4 sides parallel since they are parallelograms and by definition a prallelogram has two sets of parallel sides. A kite has no parallel sides.

Why is Europe usually treated as a separate region?

Europe has completely different culture than that of its connected area of Asia. They also have different ethnic groups, history, and were always sort of isolated throughout times. It is a subcontinents, and has very different climate for example, than Asia.

What is the advantages of parallel culture?

It promote national integration
