Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system.
We probably won't ever detect any other planets of that size orbiting other stars because they are just so small. We may be able to detect perturbations of a star with a small orbiting planet, but we most likely won't be able to get a very accurate measurement of the actual size
Pluto is the smallest planet everybody knows that.
Thats a reason its not a planet anymore IT IS A DWARF PLANET!!

Mercury is the second smallest planet @ 3,031 miles (4,878km) in diameter after the smallest Pluto @ 1,413 miles (2274 km) in diameterno it is not the biggest planet the biggest planet in our solar system is Jupiter
It is yet unknown, as we haven't even explored 1% of our own galaxy, let alone the whole universe.
Pluto used to be the smallest planet, but it was deemed to not be a planet. The smallest planet now is Mercury within our Solar System
