Answer . If you're fouling plugs your jetting is wrong. The mixture is too rich to allow the plug to reach and sustain the minimum temperature required to allow it to be 'self cleaning'. Your suffering from reliability problems as well as a loss in performance due to incorrect jetting. Fix the c…arb.. Hope This Helps. (MORE)
\nThe KTM 360 SX is still a good bike, like all other KTM's dependable but parts are expensive when you need them. Here is a link that has pictures of the 360 SX:\n. \nhttp://www.bikepics.com/ktm/360sx/
the top speed for a cr 85 is about 120 if uts on carack naw im jk its about 70 on the max
well it really depends on the gearing but if its stock your looking at round 65 but if you have upgraded gearing you can probably get it up to 80
\n. \nStart the bike up and ride it or let it idle for a few minutes to war the oil up in the engine. Then kill the engine and loosen the drain plug on the bottom of the engine. Let all of the oil drain out and replace and tighten (careful to not overtighten) the drain plug. Remove the filler plug …and add your oil. (MORE)
my '03 250SX has been clocked at 82. It has some work done, but 70 easy.
i have a ktm 85sx 08 small wheel. i weigh about 35kg and my brother clocked me in at 65 mph. it all depends on your weight track and your bike. but why the hell would you want to do over 100 kmh on a dirtbike.
im a 200 plus person and my 380 topped out at 98 and that was pushing it hard. That is all stock parts
bout 75-80 . If you mean Kawasaki, the motorbike, it has a top speed of around 65-72 mph
yes, top speed of a yz 85 is 140km/h top speed of the ktm 85sx is 104km/h, however the ktm is better in performance and got softer stocked suspension
i have a cr85rbexpert and my dad has drz 400 with a speed omitor and i hit 72.
ktm dont suck they got all hydraulic clutches and brakes so who put that is dumb. a ktm 85cc will go bout 65-70.
well it depends if it is stock or if it is HP it will go faster than stack if it is HP, but the top speed is around 50-55mph
Question is too vague, KTM 50 tops out around 50-52 mph while the 525 tops out between 90-100 mph..
Depends on how heavy u are. im 14, i weigh 111 lbs, mine does about 80. heavier people may only get about 60 mph.
It is rated at 40 hp so I would guess stock it would be in the 60-65 mph range stock.
ktm dont do 500 2ts anymore they were made in the 90s but anyway the top speed would be max 96mph but up to 70mph they are f***king animals and you would be holding on literaly with your fingernails!
I have a 52 tooth back sprocket on mine to give it more take off and it can still do about 90 km/h max
The KTM 500 has the the same bore as the 525. In EXC configuration (6-speed) with stock gearing it is good for 95 to 100 mph.
My freind has one and he got it to 60mph on tar and he weighs about 160.
With supermotard tyres about 120-135 km/h. It depends on riders weight, wind, tyre pressures and how fresh your piston is.
\nFor 2008, KTM won the 85cc shootout, however there are more things to consider than someones opinion on what bike is best. Pick a bike that suits your riding style and size. Also, it doesn't matter how good a bike is, if you don't have a shop to help you with getting parts and technical knowledg…e, your bike is just another bike. (MORE)
Yes it is. The 85 sx is slower. Top speed of 85 sx is 104km/h. Top speed of yz is 140km/h
my cr 85 takes off like a rocket 85mph top speed. if your getting a dirt bike then get one of these it even keeps up with 125/250s it is proper lethal.
well many things from those engines are the same. The best thing to do is go to ktmworld.com or ktmcyclehutt.com and cross reference the parts. I only say that is because the 125sx is a 6 speed and the 200exc is a 5 speed. I do know for a fact they are the same cases so the trany will interchange bu…t do your home work . go to those sits go through the parts manuals you will like what you find ! I did! TAKE YOUR TIME !!! you don't want to take the engine apart once you put it back together its not fun ! p.s. great bikes easy to work on very forgiving but DO YOUR HOME WORK TAKE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!! Look at the vin number on the right side of the steering head tube.\n. \n10th character identifies the year. For example: 1988(J), 1989(K), 1990(L), 1991(M), 1992(N), 1993(P), 1994(R), 1995(S), 1996(T), 1997(V), 1998(W), 1999(X), 2000(Y)------2001(1), 2002(2), 2003(3), 2004(4), 2005(5), 2006(6), 20…07(7), 2008(8) (MORE)

KTM recommends Motorex Top Speed 4T 15W50 - 0.7 L It is a 2 stroke motor however. So I run the 80W-85W Honda Red, or typical 2 stroke oil such as Maxima, BelRay 80W or 85W I abuse my motor at tracks and may need the extra weighted oils for extra safety
\nMost likely it is either:\n. \n1) dirt or grit inside the cable housing\n. \n2) the cable itself is frayed or bent inside the housing.\n. \nIf it is grit you can take the cable off and use a cable luber to clean it out, if it is kinked, toss it and get a new one.
it may look high but the shocks will go down when you sit on it
Motorex top speed 4T oil. You can find it at www.ktmcyclehutt.com then go to maintenance then clck Motorex.
The 2013 KTM SX has 25 horsepower at 12000 RPM. Older models areless powerful and fall between 21 and 25 horsepower.
Sounds lean to me. I would check these things out, make sure that the air filter is clean, put in a new plug (gapped properly), drain out the old gas in the tank and put a gallon of fresh 91 octane. Now try the bike, if it is still backfiring, I would pull the carb off and clean it thoroughly pull…ing the main jet, pilot jet and check what position the clip is in. I would check the owners manual for stock carb settings (if you don't have a manual get with your local KTM dealer) and adjust the carb back to stock. If you are in a higher altitude, check with your shop and see what they are running in their bikes for mj, pj and clip position. (MORE)
i have just bought myself a 1996 ktm 360 exc, i have already been up to 155km/h on it with supermoto tyres and it still had more go in it.
br9es, br9eg, br9egv, br9ev, rn2c, if it fould all the time something else is wrong
around $3,000 brand new but u might be able to get one used for $1,800
The plastic would not fit the 85 because the 125 is a larger bike not only engine size but body size too.
I think both bikes are same in power and specs. no i ment size not speed
Some of them are two strokes an some are 4 strokes Most of them are 2
For off road go with the XC-W. It has a 6 speed wide ratio gearbox versus a 5 speed for the SX. Bottom line, the XC-W is a great off road race bike.
new about 5,000. but is you want a good used one it would cost about 2,000
Run engine to warm up the oil undo sump plug drain old oil. Replace with the correct oil and amount.
The SX is supercross and the XC is a cross country bike. The XC has softer suspension and a 6 speed wide ratio dear box.
Take the VIN off of the head tube and enter it at the link below. The tenth digit in your VIN is the year.
No they wont, the axle diameter may be the same, however the spacing for the sprockets and disc rotas will be out. It probably could be possible but you'd be using an awful lot of washers. They do fit onto the Suzuki Rm 85 However.
a 65 is more for riders 6-9 while 85 is more for 10-14 year old people
it varies depending on the wheel size being regular on l meaning large. but its usually between 70-85 mph...85 being a good day
That is not a complete VIN number, the vin is a 17 characters (numbers and letters) that is stamped on the head tube between the handlebars and the front fender.
The ktm 150sx is a brilliant bike but also can be dangerous if you treat it dangerously (Heavy Throttle Hand). but it all depends on what you weigh and height and of course riding history. so im going to have to say it is a good strarting bike. but its a monster when you first start lol!
i have a 2012 with stock gearing it was still pulling hard at 107mph really hard !! though it was feeling a bit unstable on street with unbalanced tires .
