Best Answer

in hertz experiment if ac source connect direct plates (acts as capacitor) current pass through the ac source, no air between gap could be ionized. But according to experiment ionized air make path of electric field. So that induction process is used

What is vacuum induction melting?

Vacuum induction melting (VIM) is a metal process to use electromagnetic induction heating principle to melt the metal under vacuum conditions. In the electromagnetic induction heating process, the induction coil of induction heater will produce eddy current in order to melt the metal. This induction melting process can be used to refine high purity metals and alloys. If you want to learn more, please Visit gslipai. com or sent an email to lipaiheating@gmail.com.

How does a generator use electromagnetic induction?

There is a motor in a generator which carries out this electromagnetic induction,as we switch on the generator the magnetic field lines between that motor get cuts off by the rotating coil which cause change in flux and change in flux cause induced emf,cue to emf at different points of coil cause current to get flow and then generator will get on.

How relay is used to control induction motor?

If you want to control induction motor using a control relay give neutral directly to the one point of coil of relay & one point of coil of contactor then give control supply through push button to second point of coil of relay. use one NO point of relay and give supply to coil of contactor. and also use one NO of contactor for holding the contactor & take OFF (NC) in the starting to stop motor after complition of work. It is jut like an Direct On-line starter.

What is an induction system?

There are two possible meanings I can think of:Firstly, and induction system can mean something like an orientation program, for example where a new employee is inducted into the workings and procedures of a company. The second can refer to the induction of heat or electric current into a circuit through a strong magnetic field. For example: an induction stove, where a magnet in the surface of the stove causes the (ferrous) metal pot above it to heat up, an induction coil which induces high voltage, an induction motor.Other common place items that use induction in their design include:Some pacemaker designs use induction to recharge the battery that sits within the body cavity. Some electric tooth brush systems use iindcution technology to recharge a battery within the sealed handle of the toothbrush.Induction stoves/ cookers.

Does a coil carrying electric current create a magnetic field?

No, The magnet rotates/moves through the coil, inducing a current into the coil by disturbing the coils magnetic field. A transformer works the exact same way.

How is electromagnetic induction apply to the reproduction of sound?

Electromagnetic induction is used in many aspects of sound reproduction. Some types of microphone use a moving coil attached to a diaphragm, to induce the sound signal as it moves next to a magnet. Loudspeakers, use electromagnetic induction like a microphone in reverse. A sound signal appled to a coil, causes currents induced in the coil to react against a magnet and cause the coil to move. Attached to a cone, this then moves the air and creates sound. Old style phonographs (records) use a stylus in the groove, which moves a magnet next to a coil in the pickup. The induced current in the coil is a direct analogue of the imprinted groove on the record. Tape recorders work by the magnetism in the tape inducing a signal in the coils of the pick up head. The signal is layed down on the tape by reversing the process and suplying the head with a signal, which induces a change in the magnetic properties of the tape. Electric guitars work by the metal strings inducing current in the pickup, which can then be amplified and sent to a loudspeaker and/ or, other recording medium. There are many examples, even in this digital world, where the conversion of sound to electricity and back again, is handled by magetic induction somewhere along the line.

What websites can teach me how to properly use an induction hot plate?

You can read a guide about how to properly use an induction hot plate on this website: theinductionsite.com/how-induction-works.shtml. Always exercise caution!

Is an induction hotplate safe to use?

Yes, an induction hotplate is safe to use if you are careful. Make sure to use oven mitts when handling anything that is hot.

What is the relationship between an induction motor and transformer?

In an induction motor, power is supplied to the rotor using a changing magnetic flux i.e. without any true conductive contact. Similarly, in a transformer, the power is transferred from the primary coil to the secondry one using a varying magnetic flux and the plates have no physical linkage. Hence, the similarity between an induction motor and a transformer is very basic i.e. they both use the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction to transfer power from one part to another.

Why you not usually use induction generator?

we do not use induction generator because it require an external source (synchronous generator) that provide reactive power to it.
