The only state quarters with "S" mint marks were struck as proofs for inclusion in special collectors' sets. Someone apparently opened the set and spent your coin. Unfortunately now that it's been circulated, any value it had as a collectible is gone.

Regardless, it's unusual enough to find a proof coin in circulation so you could certainly hang onto it as a conversation piece.
