Sammler.com, a major German collectibles site, lists an estimated retail value as of 01/2015 at roughly US$3 for a bill in average condition. An uncirculated one can sell for as much as US$50.
Your bill dates from the early hyperinflation period of Germany's Weimar Republic. As the post-WWI economy collapsed the country printed huge amounts of paper money that quickly plummeted in value. Even today many Weimar-era bills aren't rare and are available in reasonable condition. They didn't stay in circulation very long because their purchasing power fell so quickly they had to be replaced within a few weeks (and later, days) by new, higher-denomination bills.
