1833 is a common date for Large Cents. The hole likely killed the collectible value of the coin. Take it to a coin dealer to see if it still has any value.
Sorry, no US $20 gold coin is dated 1833
Please look at the coin again and post new question, no US dollars were made in 1833
A Penny..the other day I found a penny from the 20s. Its still a penny not much as changed.
For a good condition 1902 us penny it is worth about $1.00. For a 1902 us penny in bad condition is worth about $0.25.

Because the date isn't 1833 and it's not a penny. My guess is that the coin is the size and color of a nickel and the date is very worn. If so, what you really have is an 1883 five-cent piece. What is it's value and it is mint and you are correct?
