The wind aids in pollination when plants transfer pollen grains. Insects can also help in the transferring of pollen grains.

By a process known as pollination.
the transfer of the male pollen grain to the female organ.
The pollen for each kind of tree or flower is distinctive to that species, so there is no definite description for what pollen in general looks like - the grains aren't even all round; the size also varies: for instance, a grain of pollen from an elm tree (which is round) is about 20 micrometers in diameter, whereas a pollen grain from a Scots pine tree is kinda kidney shaped, & measures about 40 x 60 micrometers
Step 1: A grain of pollen falls onto stigma. Step 2: animal enters flowers and brushes against anther and then is coated in pollen. Step 3: Some pollen can fall onto stigma as animal leaves flower Step 4: pollen falls onto the stigma of the next flower. Step 5: a small seed forms in the ovary in the plant. This then starts the process all over again
There are two things that must join to make a seed. The zygote, or embryo, must join with the ovule.
In a grain of pollen, what is the function of the sperm cell that doesn't join with the egg cell?
The pollen grain reach the pistil either by self-pollination or by cross pollination by pollinators.
If the plants are compatible cross pollination will occur.
Of course, it's called 'Pollination'
Pollination.
Pollination only occurs in flowering plants. It is part of the process of sexual reproduction. The pollen grain contains the male gamete.
when pollen grains falls on stigma, it creates a pollen tube which dilivers pollen grain and fuses with female gametes present in the ovule
It could be done by animal pollination , wind pollination or even self pollination.
When a pollen grain comes into contact with the stigma, or top of the pistil, it sends a pollen tube down into the ovary at the pistil's base. Fertilization of plants by animals is called pollination.
In order for pollination to occur, what must happen to the pollen grains is that they have to be transferred to the stigma in a flower of the same species. The stigma is the female part of the flower.

Of course, it's called 'Pollination'
Not too sure if its correct but I think its because plants are unable to move on their own in order to get the pollen grains from their anthers to the stigma of another flower for pollination, therefore the rely on external factors.
