Actually, wind power plants(WPP) doesn't reduce emission, however when you implement a WPP instead of implementing any fossil fuel fired power plant, that means you capture that much emission(Green house gases) by not establishing a fossil fuel fired PP. For instance, a 15MW WPP means capturing around 30.000 tons CO2. since we need energy, the plants have to be established anyway, if you do not build a WPP than this energy requirement will be satisfied by any other PP like thermal PP(using fossil fuels and causing GHG). That's how a wind power plant reduces negative impacts on environment.
