The new starters and their evolutions are as follows:
- Rowlet (Grass/Flying) --> Dartrix (Grass/Flying) --> Robinroot (Grass/Ghost)
- Litten (Fire) --> Torracat (Fire) --> Incineroar (Fire/Dark)
- Popplio (Water) --> Brionne (Water) --> Primarina (Water/Fairy)
The new Legendaries are as follows:
- Solgaleo (Sun) (Psychic/Steel)
- Lunala (Moon) (Psychic/Ghost)
- Magearna, a Mythical man-made Steel / Fairy type which will be available only through special events.

While the names of the Legendary mascots haven't been revealed, the Legendary for Sun appears to be a lion while the Legendary for Moon appears to be a bat.

HMs cannot be found in Pokemon Sun or Moon. Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon introduced a new mechanic called Ride Pokemon that will take the place of HMs that were used to clear obstacles in previous games.

Yes there are Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon games however they are set in the Alola region which is based on Hawaii, you will start as a new trainer (male or female) who had just moved into the region, you will have to battle your Rivals as well as new Gym Leaders, the Elite 4 trainers, the Champion, catch new Pokemon and train them so that you can eventually evolve some of them additionally new features in the game include Hyper Training and Royal Battles.
