Just about everything! The following are just a few examples:* Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, with integers, real numbers, and complex numbers

* Powers, and their inverses (roots and logarithms)

* Algebra (i.e., solving for unknown quantities, or calculating with generic expressions)

* Operations with matrices

* Calculations with vectors

* Derivatives and integrals

* Differential equations

Mathematics is actually not only used in Physics but also in many other fields. That is why mathematics is also called the language of Science. In physics you always make use of algebra to solve the equations. Geometry is also used to describe the motion of particles (like a projectile's path, etc). Techniques of calculus are also used to solve many problems and to derive many formulas/equations.

yes a math teacher can teach physics

Does physics use mathematics and if you are great with math will you have problem with physics?

Of all the sciences, physics is very demanding for maths. So if you are really strong at maths, physics might just be for you

Are you bad at physics and engineering if you are good at mathematics?

Of course not. Certainly, you won't be bad at physics or engineering BECAUSE OF your math skills. You NEED math for physics, and both math and physics for engineering, so somebody who is not good at math is more likely to have trouble with physics or engineering.

Can physics be used in math?

No; it is usually the other way round: math is used in physics.

Will I have difficulty in physics and engineering if I'm good at math and economics?

You'll certainly not have difficulty in physics and engineering BECAUSE you are good at math or economics; math, especially, is important in physics.

Is it true that if you enjoy math and do well in it you will do better in physics chemistry as well as engineering and computer science?

If you do well in math, you probably will do better in the disciplines that use math.

What does being excellent at math have to do with doing well in physics?

Mathematics is the language of physics. You cannot do well in physics unless you can handle the math. If you are excellent at math, you have a better chance of being very good or excellent in physics, too.
