If your Ph level is off you can get a very sore little bump inside the nostril, in your mouth on your tongue, sore gums or even a sore on your lip. In a day or so the bump will go away. I had an in-grown hair in my nostril once that caused excessive mucous build-up, drainage and crusting. After weeks of suffering through, I went to the Doctor Who put me on antibiotics and said I shouldn't have waited so long 'cause the infection could have traveled quickly to the brain from the nostril and caused real trouble.
