As of November 2010, there's a new service available to hospitals that will help them get a leg up on infection control. It's an EPA approved, environmentally friendly disininfectant service applied by bio-intervention specialists, that is safe for both humans and the environment. It has a unique killing mechanism that has what is called a 6-log kill (99.9999%). The infectious diseases are killed before they can mutate or resist. There isn't anything else like this service in existence today. Now hospitals can prevent patients from getting infected in the first place.

Why is this a big deal? Hospitals currently use disinfectant products that contain toxic chemicals, which are harmful to humans. Some newer technologies such as fogging are not EPA approved and are also toxic to humans. UV Light technology has a lower kill rate than the bio-intervention process - and it's difficult to comprehensively disinfect the surfaces if shadows are present. Right now, Bio-Intervention Specialists provides the most powerful weapon against hospital acquired infections. Visit Bio-intervention.com for more information.
