In our own Solar System, Venus is of similar size to Earth. Mars is smaller, but Venus is pretty much the same size as Earth. However, its surface is extremely inhospitable, so could never be landed on by people. Mercury is much smaller than Earth, and all the others are a LOT larger!
There are other stars in the galaxy that in recent years have been seen to have Earth-sized planets orbiting them. Some of these are gas planets, but others are solid and may possibly support primitive microscopic life-forms. More Earth-sized planets are being discovered all the time!
