Christianity came with Jesus. As Jesus states in Matthew 5:17-20 he was Not here to start a new religion; but to fix the Jewish one! Also requiring us to Keep Obeying ALL of the 613 Commandments that GOD gave to Moses!... They met in the Synagogs in Israel in Acts! Homes were only used outside of Israel.
The very disobeying of The Bible religion - Catholic, was not started until 304/5 AD by 29 men that did NOT want to keep Obeying ALL of the Bible, as is Required of us to be Christian! It has never even taught the real Second Commandment and has split the Tenth Commandment into two, then claiming that they have ten. Yet they do not.
The Second Commandment Requires that we are to Pray Only to GOD! Anyone that prays to anyone or anything else, will NOT be answered! The Catholic religion that disobeys this; tells their members that: "God dose not answer prayers anymore.".
Yet GOD dose answer prayers to those us that do Pray only to GOD!
