Do you even need to ask? If you hate your new piercing so much, there is just one thing that you should do. Get RID of it! As it is with a piercing we have to put up with snide comments and disgusted looks from people. But because the piercing gives us so much pleasure we put up with it all. And now since you say you hate your new piercing, there is no reason why you should keep it.
As your new piercing will still be fresh and sore, it is best not to try and remove the jewelry yourself. Just pay a little visit to your piercer, tell him that you want your piercing to go away and he will remove your jewelry for you, nice and easy.
The hole should close up in no time at all without leaving too much of a scar. But if it does not, you should massage your piercing slowly (better done with some Vitamin E oil) and help the tissue to come together, thus closing your piercing completely.
AnswerLavender essential oil will also work wonders to help speed the healing and reduce scar tissue.Answer
oh jeez, one thing you can do, take it out
Take it out so it will close up.But remember to keep an eye on it for infection and keep it clean.
Answer
If the piercing is infected before you decide to take the jewellery out, it really is best to keep it in until the infection goes away. If you take the jewellery out the infection will get closed inside and form an abcess.
Answer
If you wait a week or two after the initial piercing it will most likely be safe enough to take out on your own, but beware: Don't wait to long or it may leave a perminant hole depending on the gauge (thickness) of the peircing.
uhhhh idk does anybody else know just kidding kind of you should ask a doctor or you can go to the place that you got your piercing and ask them bout it.
If you just got your nose pierced, wait for 6 weeks, then change it if you would like to.
If you got the piercing done at a professional body piercing studio there is no reason to remove it and removing it after just getting the piercing done would be the number one worst move to make. You should (if you choose to remove the jewellery) wait at least 24 ~ 48 hours after the piercing has been done, this way you wont bleed to badly. Now if the piercing was done by a hack and not at a professional studio, then I would consider getting a tetnus shot from the doctor and remove the jewellery in 24 ~ 48 hours.
If the piercing was done with a piercing gun then that should answer the question.

its just an awesome piercing i got mine a couple of days ago, and i love it. there is really no meaning, unless you give it one. i love my tragus piercing and they don't hurt at all, only when they use the clamps. you should get one [: <- i wrote that, Lizziebby.
because it is just healing from when it got pierced
No. You just had a needle piercing your skin hundreds of times over. Did you think there wasn't going to be redness and swelling?
You should be following the written aftercare instructions your professional body piercer provided you with at the time you got your piercing done.
Depends what you were going to use? If you do it yourself you should have a brand new needle..if I were you I would have someone do it that is proffessional..but many of my friends do there own piercing and nver got anything you just have to keep it clean
Go to your piercer! (Hopefully, you got it done at a piercing studio, and not with an evil disgusting disease-and-germ-spreading piercing gun at a mall.)
Well I would have got the dental work done first then the piercing but that's just me. Well if your dentist is reasonable there should be no issue so long as the barbell doesn't get in his/he way.
