Well from the age you have given, then you are at school. So you shouldn't be to fussed, if you do generally like him then you might have to give signals e.g. try to talk to him. He will be as shy as you so someone has to ask the other and why not let it be you.
Be serious with him that you want his attention because at the age you are, he will probably be too immature to care.
Remember after all that you are young and you shouldn't really be worrying about this sort of thing. And if he does like you, don't ignore your friends and spend every waking moment you have with him, you may regret it.
