Which one should you pick borderlands or fallout 3?
There are a lot of similarities. Similar settings, combat is very similar. Fallout 3 is closer to a true RPG in regard to quests with multiple pathways and solutions, dialogue, reputations and morality. Your character can be a doctor, or a diplomat. Borderlands' system is more based around your character as a combatant, also rather than the weapons being 'fixed', they drop randomly, with random properties and get more powerful at higher levels, similar to a rogue-like such as Diablo.
