the role of bees is to spread pollen for the flowers to grow and the role of the humming birds is to collect necter .
Bees go to different flowers to collect nectar. When the bee is near the flower the pollen grains stick to the bee. When the bee moves to another flower the pollen grains itself jump from the bee to stigma. In this way it helps in pollenation.
Bees take pollen from flowers and bring it back to their hive to make honey. In fact honey is not made out of pollen, the honey bees visit flowers in search of nectar produced by plants in their flowers inside the nectary glands. While sucking the nectar the bees smear anthers and pollen load is loaded on their legs. These pollen grains attached to their legs come in contact with the stigma of other flowers when the bees move from one flower to the other. Thus pollination is done by them for plants and in return of this service plants provide nectar to them.
Bees hold a big role in making it possible for food crops to mature. Bees, which are pollinators, transfer pollen and seeds to and from plants, helping fertilize the plants so they can grow and produce foods.
Pollen. Pollen is what allows plants to reproduce by cross-pollenation, much like male and female in the human species. The pollen is distributed by bees and other insects, or by the wind shaking the flower and releasing pollen to be born to other plants.
Bumblebees are extremely important to the plant life-cycle. This is because they play a vital role in pollinating plants by spreading the pollen from one plant to another, ensuring that the plant can reproduce. Without bumblebees to pollinate plants, it would be very difficult to grow a lot of the foods we have come to rely on such as tomatoes, apples and cucumbers.
The flower provides the bee with nectar and pollen for food, and in going from flower to flower the bee transfers pollen from one flower to the next, pollinating the flowers. Without this pollination the flowers would not develop fruit and seeds.
insects play a major role in pollination by transferring pollen grains from one flower to other flower.eg: honey bee
The sexual organs of a plant are in the flowers. The pistil (center "post" inside a flower) is the female part of the flower, and the stamens (located around the pistil) are the male parts of the flower. A flower can sometimes pollinate itself, but usually, an intermediary is involved. That is where the term "birds and bees" come from. Bees and small birds try to gather nectar from the plants, and in the process, they knock pollen onto the pistils and carry pollen between plants. Pollen plays the same role in plants that semen plays in humans and other animals.
