Terminal one for all arrivals from anywhere. "Terminal 2" is simply a check-in area.Calling it a terminal causes a lot of confusion, as once you've checked in there you catch an underground train to terminal one to board your flight. No flights arrive at terminal 2.
Cathay Pacific CX 731 will arrive in DXB terminal one. Most likely, you will have to get down into a bus as transport to the terminal after the plane has parked in the cargo area. Some people may find this inconvient. That's why some flyers choose Emirates as their planes are all parked in terminal three which you don't have to get down to the bus after long hours of flight.
