There are so many different classifications of paper, that it's best to get a chart or table, like the one at Micro Format's paper-paper.com. I posted a link.
Each type (class) of paper has a different 'basis weight' that is used to calculate it's 'weight'. Example 20# bond paper like you'd buy to run in your home printer or a copier. The 20 pounds is calculated based on 500 sheets of 17" x 22" paper. For 500 sheets of letter size (8.5x11) 'weighs' 5 pounds. For 20# bond, the equivalent gsm is 75.2 Grams per Square Meter.
For offset or text-weight paper, 50 pound is also 75 gsm.
The link at Xerox that I posted has a PDF document which has a lot of useful information about paper. In the appendices, there is a chart for paper equivalent weights, as well as a chart of common paper sizes (Metric and American).

The Mechanical Tilt is given by physically tilting down the GSM antenna. Tilting downward focuses the beam on a specific area and hence better coverage.

GSM is a gram per square meter . tempate of 20x25cm paper size cut it and weight it in weightometer
Paper comes in many different sizes, so there is no set conversion. However, GSM stands for grams / square meter, so if the GSM and density of the paper is known, conversion becomes easier. The formula for the thickness then becomes: Thickness = GSM/density.

The unit 'gsm' stands for 'grams per square meter', which means that a 130 gsm paper is heavier than an 80 gsm paper. Whether the 130 gsm is thicker depends on the type of paper. However, 130 gsm of the same paper stock would obviously be thicker.
170 to 230 gsm paper used for paper plates and cups
GSM in relation to paper - is the weight in Grammes of one Square Metre. For example - 'regular' A4 copier paper is usually 70 GSM. Craft paper such as origami paper (for folding into models) is usually much lighter at around 40 GSM, or sheets of card is normally 120 GSM

75 gsm and 70 gsm are the weight of the paper naturally the 75 gsm is a little bit good tha 70 gsm paper it is costly to but the 70 gsm paper is good for daily printing on laser printer but if u want to make special assignement or project or may be resume than go for the 75 gsm or more
Take a paper of standard size. Measure its mass in gram using an electronic balance. Find its dimensions (length and breadth) in meter. Find the area in meter2. Get the gsm by dividing the mass in gram by area in meter2. Example: If the mass of a 42cmx33.5cm paper is 8.15gram then its gsm is 58 . (8.15/.42/.335 = 58) You will get more accurate results by using multiple sheets of paper. I usually use at least 10 sheets of paper, then you can either find the total area of the 10 sheets (multiply area of 1 sheet by 10), or divide the mass that you measured by 10, before doing the gsm calculation.
