24-hour time tells time as "hours since midnight," with midnight being 0 hour. 1400 (or 14:00), then, would be 14 hours since midnight. To translate a time later/bigger than 1200 into 12-hour time (times after 12 are PM), simply subtract 12 to make it p.m. In the case of 1400, that would be 2:00 p.m.
2 PM
1400 hours is 2pm
1400 hours
Well, depending on what you mean by "how much time", it could be many things. It takes 2 hours and 48 minutes to fly 1400 miles by plane, about 24 hours to drive 1400 miles nonstop at 60 mph, and about 20 days to walk 1400 miles nonstop.
Eight hours and 20 minutes, or 8.3333 hours, is 1400 minutes.
9:00 AM or 900 hours if you prefer
Time = Distance/Speed. So 1400 miles/25 mph = 56 hours
2 pm
(10 + 24n) hours and 20 minutes where n is any integer.
2 hours after noon UTC
58.33 days
The first thing we need to know, is how many minutes are there per hour? We know it's 60 minutes per hour, and when converting from one unit it to another, we are either going to multiply 1400 by 60, or divide 1400 by 60. If we have the same amount of time in one minute chunks, we are going to have a bigger number than if we had it in 1 hour chunks. Since we start with 1400 small chunks of time and we're going to a bigger chunk of time, 1400 is going to get smaller, telling us we need to divide by 60 rather than multiply. 1400/60 = 23 and 1/3 hours.
If you are saying it in military time you would say, "fourteen hundred hours" but if you were saying it civilian language you would say two o'clock pm.
