All Jedi above the rank of knight were front-line generals in the clone wars. In the movie, Anakin and Obi Wan Kenobi were repeatedly called general by the clone troopers.
Oh yeah, ummm actually the Clone Troopers call Anakin and Obi-Wan like this; General Kenobi! Commander Skywalker! Since Skywalker is just a jedi knight while Obi-Wan is a Jedi Master, Ani is still a Commander ONLY. So yeah besides u said "Above the rank of Knight, and Anakin is on the rank of knight so he's still a commander exactly!!!
