The book, "The Cruelest Miles," about the sled dog race to bring diphtheria serum to an infected area of Alaska has a quote at the beginning of the book about the importance of dogs in arctic Alaska. The quote ends with a note that says this was part of his last column, found in the wreckage of the plane he died in. I'd go and copy the text for you, but would lose this page, so try it yourself via the "look inside the book" feature.

Column headings start at A. After reaching Z, the next is AA, then AB and so on. What the last column is will depend on the version of Excel that you have. Column IV, which is the 256th column, is in the versions up to Excel 2003. From Excel 2007 there are 16,384 columns and last one is column XFD.

How do you move the cell pointer to the lower right corner of the worksheet with a single action?

Using Ctrl-End will bring you to the lower right corner of the active area of the worksheet. It will put the cursor in the cell which is on the lowest row furthest right column. So if the last row you had something in was row 129 and the last column you had something in was column T, Ctrl-End would bring you toe cell T129. There would not necessarily be anything in that cell, but it is the cell in the last row and last column that there is data in.Using Ctrl-End will bring you to the lower right corner of the active area of the worksheet.
