According to the ancient writers, Octavian gave Cleopatra a lavish funeral befitting a queen. There is a misconception that no one knew where Cleo was buried, that she was buried in secret so the Romans would not find her, and more etcs. However none of these pop historians ever bother to read the ancient writers who clearly state that Octavian gave her a regal funeral.
