Operation Grand Slam
Fort Knox
Goldfinger was the Bond villain who attempted to rob Fort Knox - or more precisely, he was going to set off a nuclear bomb inside Fort Knox to destroy the gold, so that his own existing gold investments would increase in value. It was similar but not exactly the same as a robbery. More like extreme vandalism.
Auric Goldfinger is a British businessman who has purchased vast stores of gold that British investigators believe he is illegally smuggling out of the country. James Bond is assigned to track him and in this mission he discovers Godlfinger's plan to irradiate Fort Knox.
Fort Knox Music (BMI)
It wasn't the Everly Bros., it was the Irvin Twins( Len and Glen) from Hayloft Hoedown. They sang with the Ft. Knox Band, and one of them played electric guitar on a Blood, Sweat and Tears Number. "Smiling Phases" if I recall correctly. This is correct. I was in that band that played with the Irvin Twins in and around Northern KY, and Southern Ohio(158th Army Band, Ft. Knox KY-1968 - 1969). We did a few of thew tunes from the BS&T book, that year.
Fort Knox
