Alice's sister is referenced in Through the Looking Glassbut does not actually appear. In Alice's Adventures in Wonderdland, her older sister DOES appear albeit as a minor character as she reads to Alice and Alice awakes with her head in the lap of her sister - but her sister is only referred to as "her sister" - no name given. Some believe that she is named Lorna after Alice Liddell's real-life sister since ostensibly the character Alice in the books was named after Alice Liddell. Whether the fictional Alice is wholly based on Alice Liddell is somewhat debated by scholars, but it's fairly certain she at least is the source of the fictional Alice's moniker, thus it's at least a reasonable assumption that the otherwise unnamed sister could be named Lorna. In other media the sister has been named Mathilda (Disney's Alice in Wonderland, Jr.), Aida (1995 film), and Margaret (2010 film).
